Submission Critieria ~ 2010

We are now accepting submissions for our 2nd Annual Spirit Book Review. 

Keep in mind, the purpose of the SBR is to review those works that are not necessarily in the mainstream media or public eye. 

Our deadline for submissions is February 28, 2010, and our SBR will be published in June 2010.

 

Submission Criteria for the 2010 Spirit Book Review

*All criteria must be met or the submission will not be accepted.*



1.  Each submission must be accompanied by a self-addressed, postage-paid envelope for return.
 
2.  Each submission must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of $25.00 which is non-refundable whether the submission is accepted or not. 


3.  Each submission must include a one-page statement in Microsoft Word as to:  the nature of the project; how and why the project was begun and completed; and what the purpose of the project was and is.


4.  Each submission must include a half-page statement in MIcrosoft Word with: a bio of the person who created the project.

5.  Each submission must include a JPEG of:  the product cover and the author.


6.  Each submission must be serving mankind; the animal kingdom; our planet; and/or universal good.

7.  Each submission must fit into the categories of ~ music, literary, video, philanthropy product.

8.  The work must be submitted by the person who created it, or their authorized agent (such as the publisher or producer).  If the work is submitted by an agent, proof of agency must be provided.

9.  The work must be available for purchase by the public.



THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED:


1.  Works that are already well-published and established in the media.

2.  Works that have famous testimonials.

3.  Works that are fundamentalist in nature ~ meaning, works that preach a certain doctrine, dogma, or way of life; works that promote radical views; works that are political or of a personal opinion.

4.  Works that are out of print or no longer available for purchase.

5  Works that do not include all of the criteria listed above for submission.
